Design and Construction Options
American Veterinary Building Systems offers a variety of prepared modular and prefabricated building designs. In addition to the pre-designed stock floor plans, custom design is available. For those veterinarians and animal care providers not interested in modular construction, AVBS can provide stock floor plans for use in conventional construction.
AVBS provides the following building designs:

- - Sizes range from one- to four-exam room
- - Large animal and boarding kennel additions available
- •Animal housing expansions
How it works:
Each wood frame first floor module is set on a field-constructed foundation. A mechanical and roof module is set on top of the hospital module. Several modules set side-by-side make up a new animal care facility. Module installation can be integrated into other on-site construction, such as masonry kennels and large animal areas, or additions to existing buildings. Prefabricated modules can provide an affordable alternative to conventional building expansion.
